The MU Pre Mixer Homogenizer is the ideal machine for the pre treatment and conditions of returning green sand.

 

 

The wide variations in temperature, moisture, and core sand dilution found in post shake-out green sands are major contributors in the generation of poor quality molding sand which leads to casting defects.

THE MUR
PRE MIXER COOLER

 
 

 

The MUR Pre Mixer Cooler is ideal for homogenizing return green sand combined with higly effective cooling action.

 

The homgenous distribution of water and additives is combined with forcing a high volume of air through the sand mass in the pre mixing trough.

The air promoted the evaporation of the excess water thus reducing the overall sand temperature.

The construction of the mixers are similar to the well proven MU units, but the addition of internal plenum chambers, air ducting and fan unit, alters the machines "foot print".

The MUR is ideal for handling return sand with input temperature up to 100 degrees and capacity up to 120 tons/hour.
