The ET Bucket Elevator is specially designed for lifting and transporting return green sand. The range includes units with capacity from 20 to 200 tons per hour, lifting the material from a few meters up to 50 meters and more.
Our design of elevator has been made to work with return shake out sand temperatures up to 120 degrees Celsius.
For particular conditions and using special materials, it is possible to work up to a maximum temperature of 180 degrees Celsius.
The robust base or boot is fabricated in carbon steel plating, strengthened with welded angle braces. Large bolted doors allow for easy access to the internal parts for inspection and maintenance. The proper tensioning of the bucket belt is provided by two large diameter "acme" threaded screws attached to the bottom drum bearings.
Drive and tension drums are of squirrel cage design, mounted on reinforced flanges with welded central hubs. The shafts are of alloyed steel type, turned and equipped with Bikon cone couplings mounted on self-aligning bearings in cast iron bodies with dust proof covers.
The elevator-head body is manufactured in electro-welded carbon steel plating. The upper part is composed of a horizontal slit body, which allows for easy access to the drive drum for maintenance. |

In the upper part or cap is also fitted with a flanged opening for connection to the dust collection system.
The intermediary tower units are made of shaped and braced steel plate erected by bolting together the end flanges.
The tower unit directly mounted on the foot body is equipped with inspection doors which allow for easy access for assembly and/or the replacement of buckets.
The buckets, of DIN 15233 standard, are manufactured from thick stainless steel plating with an external edge hard faced with brazed tungsten carbide. The buckets are assembled on the rubber belt by special self-locking crowned head screws.
A directly coupled motor gear box with "splash" lubrication is assembled on the drive shaft and connected to the drive unit by a torque arm.
An installed rotation sensor indicates any possible drive failure and/or slowdown due to possible overloading, sending an alarm signal to the control panel thus ensuring the best protection of the unit.
