The DTC aerator is the ideal solution for processing molding green sand. Whatever is the range of equipment and the technology used in the process of molding sand preparation DTC will add just something more to get close to perfection.

The centrifugal force produced by the spinning central rotor projects the sand across the processing chamber and through the three rows of disintegration fingers located in the top of the DTC chamber.

Lumps, sometimes present in the prepared sand, are instantly broken up, thus enhancing the sand flow ability and mold ability.

The fingers, which can be easily extracted from the unit housing, are sheathed with replaceable wear resistant sleeves.

The peripheral wall of the chamber is lined with wear resistant rubber panels, which also help to eliminate build up of sand.

Two high frequency electro-vibrators installed outside the chamber sidewalls avoid the risk of sand build-up.

Power transmission between the electrical motor and rotor is via a traditional 'V' belt and pulley drive.

All transmission moving parts are enclosed in a safety enclosure, which also protects the mechanism from the ingress of dust and sand. The central rotor is fitted onto a vertical shaft mounted on a combination of radial and axial bearings housed within the safety protective enclosure.

The homogenizer assembly is mounted on an all welded support structure, fitted with four mounting feet for ease of retro-fitting to a variety of sand plants.
